Who am I?
My name is Lukas Valdez, but you can call me Valdez. I am a second year student in the Graphic & Web Design program at John Abbott College in Montreal. I’ve lived at Montreal my entire life and plan on continuing to do so for the foreseeable future. I have been a creative person for my entire life.
How did I start Graphic Design?
The way that I started my journey in Graphic Design was by applying to different colleges in Montreal. The only place that accepted me of course was John Abbott College’s Graphic and Web Design program. Ever since I’ve been passionate about I’ve Graphic Design and have given it 110% of my effort.
What else do I do?
Outside of Graphic Design, I like to draw things and I have also dabbled in video game creation although I have not published any of them. I also like to play airsoft in my free time. Other than that, I don’t really do anything outdoors even though I’m sure there are lots of things to do in Montreal because that’s how I was raised. So you can trust that I know how to use a computer.
My Work
All my work is currently available to view on my print portfolio and web portfolio as well as my Instagram account. I am currently still adding things to all three of those things.
My interest in Graphic Design Jobs and Internships in Montreal
As I am currently only in the second year of the three year program, I will be searching for graphic design jobs in Montreal when I graduate in 2028. That is, assuming I don’t drop out of this program which I might do but probably won’t because I am extremely passionate about the subject and would love to dedicate the rest of my life to working in this lovely industry. So if you ever need me for a job, please feel free to contact me!
